We might love using candles at home to decorate or just for the wonderful aroma that the scented candles give out, but candles have actually been used in magical practices for centuries now and they are still often in use today. The main reason for this is because the flame of candles is interpreted as light in the middle of the darkness that surrounds us. Even the color of the candle holds special significance, the color of a candle is supposed to either attract and send out special kinds of vibrations and influences. For instance black candles are often used in many kinds of different ceremonies. However, the common misconception is that black candles are used only in black and dark ceremonies, but actually they are used in both dark and white ceremonies and they have different meanings. Therefore, candles serve many purposes besides just decorating your home or dinner table.
